How do I register for my certification or state exam?
Once you've finished the required coursework, we guide you through the exam that goes with your program: confirming you meet the eligibility requirements, completing the registration with the appropriate testing body, paying the exam fee, and choosing a test date and location that fit your schedule. You won't have to figure it out alone.
How long will my program take?
It varies by program. Most of our programs are built to be completed in anywhere from a few weeks to a few months of focused, hands-on training. Your admissions contact can give you the exact length and upcoming start dates for the program you're interested in.
Do I have to pay everything before classes begin?
We'll go over payment timing and any available payment arrangements with you before your start date, so there are no surprises. Ask our admissions office about the options for your specific program.
Is there a dress code? Do I need scrubs?
Yes, students wear scrubs to class. It keeps the learning environment professional and mirrors the real clinical settings you'll be working in once you're certified.
My certification expired. Can you help me renew it, and do you offer refresher courses?
Renewing typically means submitting a renewal application to the appropriate licensing or certifying board and paying their renewal fee. We also offer refresher training to help you meet continuing-education requirements and get back up to speed before you return to work.
Do I need to buy my own textbooks and study materials?
Yes — students are generally responsible for their own books and study materials. You'll receive a list of exactly what's required at the start of your program so you know what to get.
Where will I take my state exam?
That depends on the certification you're pursuing. We'll share the scheduling details and available testing locations during your course, so you'll know exactly where and when to go.
